A Kerry fine day!

Sun, fine showers and rainbows all day, driving the Ring of Kerry.

Work day

Spent the day delivering bags of breading in Kerry. Driving the backroads and meeting lots of fine people.

Shocking!

Alan just told me the funniest story about the owner of Custy's below. Custy's is down a very narrow alley off a very narrow street. Apparently a few years back some fellows (and maybe ladies) began "pissing" in the doorway after hours. So what did the owner do? Why he electrified the doorway of course! I guess he was pissed off at them? The newspapers reported the SHOCKING treatment! 😜

Did a bit of shopping today!

Custy's in Ennis

Instruments everywhere, CDs, books, whistle and fiddle lessons going on up stairs. A very small with an absolute wealth of "stuff", all Celtic!

Within Custys

Inside Custy's

Limerick City Art Gallery, spending the afternoon here.

Tonight at Connolly's in Kinvara

Tony Trundle on fiddle, Dermot Byrne on the box. The session grew in size as the hours progressed. Back in Kilfinane now for good night's sleep.

These are the roads I drive

Off to Kinvara this eve for what promises to be a great music session at Connollys. A lot of box players usually show up here. It's a 2 hour drive north on the south coast of Galway Bay.
