The coffee is strong and delicious. A little snow fell over night but it is sunny and refreshing this morning. I've just come from a brisk morning walk though narrow streets and along the Shannon. The news is full of the economy and dreaded budget cuts that are soon to occur. But the faces are still smiling and everyone seems more than willing to help me distinguish 1 euro or 2 euro coins!
